Zhangjiakou Wenhua Electric Power Vocational School is a full-time secondary vocational school approved by the Education Bureau and registered with the Provincial Department of Education. It was established on September 29, 2009. As of the end of 2018, the total number of registered students in the school was 891. In 2018, there were 347 students enrolled and 206 graduates. The school's leadership structure is sound, with a board of directors, a school committee, and a party branch. It includes an academic affairs office, a political and educational office, a moral education office, an office, an enrollment and employment office, a teaching and research office, and a youth league committee. There are 11 members of the school committee, including 1 chairman (also party branch secretary), 1 principal, 3 vice principals, 1 academic affairs director, 1 political and educational director, 1 finance department head, 1 office director, 1 youth league secretary, and 1 director of the teaching and research office. The school has a computer room, multimedia classroom, electrician laboratory, electrical laboratory, thermal instrument room, fitter workshop, welder workshop, thermal instrument room, and electric drive assembly room.
